Event venue at Teurastamo
Flavour Studio is a 150 m² event venue at Teurastamo in Helsinki, about 300 metres from Kalasatama metro station. It seats 80 and holds 100 standing. The studio is available from morning to evening, whatever you need.
The cooking stations move, so they can be used in lots of ways or taken out of the room altogether. Ask us and we will tell you what is possible!
The room has six fully equipped cooking stations with induction hobs and steam ovens, a 6 metre tasting table and a 6 metre high ceiling. Prep happens in a separate professional kitchen, which can be curtained off during the event.
For sound there are eight speakers, wireless microphones and direct XLR and 3.5 mm inputs for a DJ, and a band fits in too. There are also two projectors with screens.
Our neighbours at Teurastamo include Kellohalli, B-Smokery and others, and together we can put on a whole day’s programme if you need one.

Let us know in your quote request if anyone in the group has mobility, hearing or vision needs or sensory sensitivities. We plan the evening, routes and stations around them and confirm the details in advance.

How many people can sit down?
It seats 80 and holds 100 standing. The fixed dining table seats 22, and another 60 sit at the stations and extra tables.
Is the venue accessible?
We give the details of the entrance, toilets and working heights with your quote. Mention in your quote request if anyone in the group has mobility, hearing or vision needs, and we will plan the evening around them.
How do we get there?
The address is Työpajankatu 2, 00580 Helsinki. It’s about 300 metres from Kalasatama metro station, and there is parking in the Teurastamo area.
Can we rent the venue without a programme?
Yes. You can rent it simply as a party, meeting or filming space, and our own kitchen handles the catering the way you want it.
Is the venue licensed?
Yes, the venue has a full licence, so you can’t bring your own alcohol. An alcohol-free option always works.
